Bring four extra passport photos, you will need them.
I got mine at my local post office.

Before you leave
Fill out & print Arrival Form
They did ask for this International Traveler Arrival Form at customs when I was there.
There is no reason to do a visa or trekking permit online ahead of time. I did that here, and it only confused the customs workers.
Check Nepali Immigration & your home Embassy websites
At Tribhuvan Airport
Go through Immigration
So you get to the Immigration/Customs area and on the right there are electronic machines you have to use the fill out and print visa information, then you take that paperwork to the desk.

Change Money
I changed money at the airport -- there's one "changer" before and one after customs. I went with the one after as there was no line.
Sim Card
I picked up a Nepal Telecom/Namaste sim card at a booth right across from the money changer
